Should i continue to develop a relationship with him even though i do not know his intentions about the future?

I really care for him, as he does for me, i just dont want to end up getting hurt.

I think him saying he doesn't see that far into the future and this is all he can offer you right now seems pretty straight forward.

Being here for the forums is fine, just realize that ultimately it should be him you're communicating with about your needs/desires and expectations. I think he means what he says and it's unrealistic to expect more just because you want it.

~OP~ I've been here far too long to think that everything is blissful, so you just happened across POF and the forums. Sounds perfect to me (sounds 'something' anyway......)~OT~ There is no set in stone way that two people advance in any relationship. You can be blissfully happy is it is, or you can move on.

All the happy dance around about being ‘happy with how things are’ just means comfortable. Why exactly would you discontinue a relationship with a man whom you love? Since there is no standard definition of a time frame for a relationship progression you get to wing it.There is no setting a time for an answer because that would be considered an ultimatum.
